The TRF have been working with local authorities and the police to promote the benefits of responsible trail riding.

Members have recently undertaken joint operations with the police in both the Peak District and South Wales to help educate unlawful riders whose behaviour didn’t warrant immediate police intervention.

The South Wales initiative was pioneered by Graham Hutton, Chairman of the Hereford regional group.

Rider education and assimilation to the culture of the TRF reduces offending and frees up police resources to deal with more important crime, including motorcycle theft.

Proposed days of action are best discussed with TRF director Stuart Bosworth, who leads on issues involving the police.
